About Us
Sometimes it’s hard to share one’s vision and even harder to capture and create those visions. Before Born to Hula was born the idea was to take those things in life that people enjoy and pour that excitement into a 5 oz bottle.

Whether it be music, motorcycles, cars, trucks, dancing, skate boarding, surfing, cooking or sky diving, the list is yours to create. Born to Hula in our interpretation is not just a Hawaiian dance. It means to take your list of enjoyments and break down your own boundaries and live it up! Remember “It’s not just a Hot Sauce... It’s a way of life!

Our company is based on the belief that our customers’ needs are of the utmost importance. Our entire team is committed to meeting those needs. As a result, a high percentage of our business is from repeat customers.

We welcome the opportunity to earn your trust and to deliver to you the most flavorful hot sauce in the industry.

About our Sauce
All of our sauces are hand made in a local kitchen with the freshest ingredients. We like to run small batches to keep it more personal. Our peppers are hand picked and bought from local farmers’ markets in the Monmouth New Jersey area. Along with our perfectly aged pepper mash and exotic dried chilies we are able to make a more delicious product for you the consumer.

The Guajillo [gwah-HEE-yoh] chili pepper is known technically as Capsicum annum, cultivar Guajillo. It is mainly grown in Mexico but has also been reported to grow in some areas of the southern USA. It has a moderate heat level.

The Ancho chili is the sweetest of the dried chilies. Ancho chilies are dried poblano peppers. They provide mild to moderate heat.
Our Cayenne and Habanero mashes are pure peppers fermented in salt, not a processed concentrate! No preservatives or additives. The Cayenne mash is our main ingredient in our Cayenne sauce and the Habanero mash along with fresh Habaneros is also two of the main ingredients in our Anhco and Guajillo sauces.

The three original sauces Cayenne, Ancho and Guajillo were all made to be mild to medium heat. The idea was to have awesome flavor and enough heat so everyone from beginner to experienced chili head could enjoy. And then came the Ghost! We took our Ancho Habanero Chili sauce and added smoked Bhut Jolokia peppers, aka Ghost peppers which the Guinness Book of World Records recognizes as one of the hottest peppers in the world. The smokey heat of the Bhut Jolokia chili mixed with the sweetness from the Ancho chili brings a whole different sauce to the table!
